The HSS PRO-TiN drill body is made of high-speed steel and coated with a layer of titanium nitride (TiN). This additive ensures exceptional drill durability and hardness (approx. 80 HRC). Additionally, the TiN coating prevents the drill from overheating (low friction coefficient). The heat generated during work is mainly transferred to chips and coolant. These properties make TiN drills very long-lasting. The speed of titanium drills is 40-60% faster than traditional high-speed steel drills. The feed speed is also increased by 10-20% without significantly reducing the drill's durability. The 135-degree split point angle reduces pressure during drilling and ensures efficiency and perfect centering. The ground spiral, of industrial quality, ensures precise drilling and fast removal of debris.
