FLAWFINDER DEVELOPER Spray Rocol

FLAWFINDER DEVELOPER Spray is an aerosol applied white powder used as part of the NDT crack detection system to draw the penetrant out of a flaw, and enhance the definition facilitating detection. Rocol’s FLAWFINDER non-destructive inspection system is designed to provide a fast, reliable method for visual detection of cracks or flaws in welded joints, castings, forgings, which would not normally be visible to the naked eye (bright red indication marks flaws and cracks). FLAWFINDER DEVELOPER also serves as an effective anti-glare spray when 3D scanning. The highly visible, highly absorbent white film provides rapid effects, strongly highlighting even very fine cracks. The spray is suitable for use on most materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, ceramics, plastics, carbides, brass, copper and magnesium, the detection can be carried out both under electric and natural light. Convenient and easy to use, FLAWFINDER DEVELOPER can be easily rinsed off with water. A multi-angle valve system provides easy access to hard to reach areas.

Application: Used as part of the FLAWFINDER non-destructive crack detection system, clearly highlighting cracks and defects. Used on engines, boilers, furnaces and generators, in the automotive industry on exhaust connections, cams and brakes, as well as threaded connections on drilling rods in industries such as crude oil, mining, public works and quarries, or valves and fittings in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Suitable for pressure testing and leak detection.
