GALVA BRIGHT Rocol

GALVA BRIGHT is a high-performance anti-corrosive galvanising coating or primer, containing pure zinc, aluminium, synthetic resins and additives. The spray offers long term corrosion and mechanical protection for metal components requiring a permanent, light grey, bright coating. Ideally suited for components that cannot be galvanised using a hot dip process, the product can also be used to repair the surface of galvanised components that have been damaged or removed due to welding or other mechanical operations, as it adheres well to metal surfaces. The spray forms a durable hydrophobic film, that repels moisture from the surface, forming beads of water. The unique combination of flexibility and hardness makes GALVA BRIGHT highly resistant to peeling, flaking and abrasion. The non-toxic formulation does not contain lead or chromate and is highly resistant to water. Standard paints create a passive barrier, which when breached offers no protection against corrosion, as rust begins to form underneath it, quickly removing it from the surface. In comparison, with an outstanding temperature resistance (-30°C to +450°C), Rocol Metal Enriched Paints contain a triple protection formula, developed to exploit the chemical properties of zinc and an advanced resin system to effectively shield steel from corrosion.

Application: Galvanising industrial equipment, including steel doors and window frames, fences, gates, garage doors, trailer and caravan chassis, couplings, internal car body panels, structural steel and guard rails, welded seams, drains and boilers, storage tanks, piping and fittings. Particularly suitable for use in docks, ports and in the farming and offshore industries.
