SolidTack® self-adhesive elements have been developed specifically for difficult surfaces where drilling holes, welding studs, or using edge fasteners such as EgdeClip is not possible, or where acceptable mounting methods are too time-consuming and costly. These elements have very high adhesion to painted surfaces. The adhesive tape is made of acrylic mass with good initial adhesion. Thanks to these properties, the tape can be used for plastics with low surface energy such as PP and PE, where standard adhesives fail. There are three different sizes of bases for bands and handles in two sizes for mounting flat and round cables without using bands. Such elements are intended for painted surfaces usually encountered in the railway, aviation, and automotive industries. They can also be used for housings, covers, and other plastic elements.
