SolidTack® self-adhesive elements have been developed specifically for difficult surfaces where drilling holes, welding studs, or using edge clamps such as EgdeClip is not possible, or where permissible mounting methods are too time-consuming and costly. These elements have very high adhesion to painted surfaces. The adhesive tape is made of acrylic mass with good initial adhesion. Thanks to such tape properties, it is possible to use it for plastics with low surface energy such as PP and PE, where standard adhesives do not work. Three different sizes of bases for bands and two sizes of holders for flat and round cables without using bands are available. Such elements are intended for painted surfaces commonly found in the railway, aviation, and automotive industries. They can also be used for housings, covers, and other elements made of plastics.
