HelaCon Lux were developed to connect solid wires with flexible wires. They combine the push-in connector technology, well-known from HelaCon Easy, with a spring locking mechanism for connecting flexible wires. They can be used in the typical range of household installations of 450 V / 24 A. Two versions of connectors with one or two inputs for solid wires allow for greater flexibility in application. In contrast to the standardly used strips with screw connectors, lighting connectors do not require the use of tools and offer much faster installation and secure wire connection. These advantages are appreciated, especially when installing overhead or when wires are difficult to access. A typical application of connectors is lighting installation, where the solid wire of the electrical installation needs to be connected to the flexible wire of the lighting fixture. The 2/1 variant has two inputs from the installation side and allows for branching the power line. The wire from the output/lighting side can be easily inserted and removed from the connector by pressing the locking mechanism. The lighting input allows for connecting various types of wires, making HelaCon Lux connectors suitable for connecting other devices, especially those with flexible wire connectors, such as blinds, fans, etc.
