FOODLUBE Hi-Temp 2 is a high temperature, white/semi-translucent, non-toxic silicone grease fortified with PTFE, ideal for lubricating slow moving bearings and sliding surfaces operating at high temperatures in food, pharmaceutical and other clean environments. Ideal for the assembly, lubrication and corrosion protection of most types of plastic and rubber (not silicone rubber), the grease is highly resistant to water wash off and acids and alkalis, such as fruit juice and caustic cleaners, commonly found if the food industry. The product reduces friction and effectively prevents wear and failure, extending component life. Excellent oxidation stability greatly extends the life of the grease, reducing re-lubrication frequency and product usage. The DETEX technology metal detectable cap on grease cartridge reduces risk of plastic contamination. FOODLUBE Hi-Temp 2 is manufactured from only FDA listed ingredients and does not contain mineral hydrocarbons, animal derived materials, nut oils or genetically modified ingredients, and is MOSH/MOAH-free.
