WIRESHIELD Rocol

WIRESHIELD is a high performance wire rope lubricant, featuring advanced pseudoplastic rheology, which increases the penetration of the lubricant. Highly resistant to water wash-off, including salt water, it offers excellent corrosion protection. Thanks to excellent lubricating properties, it significantly reduces wear on wires and strands, maximising the rope’s service life. The translucent amber gel transforms into a fluid consistency under shear, aiding penetration to the core of the rope. When shear is removed, it stiffens back to a grease consistency, ensuring low fling off and high resistance to dripping and water wash off. Clean and pleasant to use, WIRESHIELD prevents the buildup of dust and dirt and makes inspection of the rope easier and more effective.

Application: Lubrication and corrosion protection of submerged ropes, static ropes, ship lifts, winches, hoists, drag lines, pulleys and springs.
