CHAINGUARD 550 is a dry film graphite high temperature chain oil specifically formulated for the lubrication of of oven chains running at extremely high temperatures and heavy loads. Designed for environments where product contamination, commonly associated with wet lubricant use is not acceptable, this product is ideal for use on bakery oven chains. The dry film reduces the risk of potential contamination that is often associated with wet chain lubricants. Made from a pure evaporating base oil, the lubricant contains fine graphite particles for excellent penetration and high performance under high loads. CHAINGUARD 550 offers excellent performance at high temperatures, effectively reducing wear and extending chain life. The formula is solvent-free and will not collect dust or dirt during operation, even at temperatures above 180ºC. Low fuing ensures a clean working environment and eliminates the cost of installing exhaust fans, often necessary with other similar products. The lubricant should be applied at temperatures below 120ºC to achieve full penetration.

Application: Lubrication of paint stoving ovens and bakery oven chains, conveyors and stenters.
