FOODLUBE Hi-Torque 220 Rocol

FOODLUBE Hi-Torque is a range of non-toxic, high performance, food grade synthetic gearbox fluids that minimise wear, thereby reducing risk of breakdown and significantly extending gear box life. They form a tenacious film with excellent resistance to water wash off and corrosion, guaranteeing outstanding EP performance up to FZG load stage 12. Suitable for all types of gear design within enclosed gearboxes, the oils offer a wide temperature resistance of -20ºC to +150ºC (the 320 and 460 variants are suitable for high temperature chains up to +180ºC). FOODLUBE Hi-Torque lubricants incorporate the Rocol Start Up Protection System (SUPS), a unique additive package that ensures gear teeth are lubricated on start-up, even after a prolonged shut-down. Unlike traditional gear oils, where gear teeth are unprotected until enough oil has worked its way around them, SUPS technology leaves gear teeth coated with oil after shut-down. On start-up, oil instantaneously climbs the gears to provide maximum lubrication and effective protection against micro pitting, which is one of the most common forms of gear teeth failure. Excellent thermal stability greatly extends the life of the grease, increasing oil change intervals to up to 4 years, and reducing product usage. The products are available in viscosity grades of ISO VG 150, 220, 320 and 460, to suit all gear box applications within the food industry. FOODLUBE Hi-Torque are manufactured from only FDA listed ingredients and do not contain mineral hydrocarbons, animal derived materials, nut oils or genetically modified ingredients, and are MOSH/MOAH-free.
