Identification tags are designed for easy marking of cables and pipes without the need for disconnecting them. Due to their large size, more text can be placed on them than with AT series signs. The marking is done manually using T82 markers or with matched thermotransfer labels. The tags are also suitable for hot stamping. Installation is usually done using straps up to 4.8 mm wide. Because the length of the straps can be arbitrary, such markings can be attached to elements of practically unlimited diameter. IMP tags are designed for labeling cables and pipes with large diameters and in cases where the marking must contain a large amount of information.
