SUMITUBE B2 series 2:1 heat-shrink tubing by Sumitomo Electric is a flexible and colorful, thin-walled polyolefin tubing with a high shrink ratio. It comes in a roll packaging and is suitable for printing. The tubing is highly flame-retardant and meets the highest industrial, aviation and military standards. SUMITUBE B2 series offers a wide range of sizes and colors. Applications: B2 series heat-shrink tubing is used in various industries such as solar and wind energy, aviation, shipbuilding, rail transport, and defense. It is used for insulation, mechanical protection, and wire marking. Technical data: The tubing has a minimum shrink temperature of +90°C and can operate in temperatures ranging from -55°C to +135°C. It is not halogen-free and is made of cross-linked polyolefin (PO-X) material. The tubing has an electrical strength of ≥30 kV/mm and is certified by UL224 125C/600 V VW1, CSA, SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 class 1&3. The material is highly flame-retardant according to UL224 VW1.
