SAFE STEP Epoxy Repair Compound Rocol

SAFE STEP Epoxy Repair Compound is a three-component epoxy repair mortar, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It provides a fast repair with minimum disruption to services and people. The compound has outstanding adhesion to all surfaces, with the adhesion to most building surfaces exceeding the strength of the substrate. Impervious to water and frost resistant, it cures in damp conditions. It provides the best value repair system, giving durable performance and avoiding expensive, repetitive repairs. The mortar is highly resistant to impact and abrasion, as well as a wide range of industrial chemicals. It contains no water or solvents, ensuring no shrinkage during curing. Easy to use, it’s supplied in convenient, pre-packed units.

Application: Repairing damaged concrete, sills, lintels, steps, ramps, loading bays, floors, chemical bunds, nosings on expansion joints etc.

Shrinkage: no measurable shrinkage during cure when tested to ASTM C157
Usable life after mixing: 40-50min at 20ºC, 80-90min at 10ºC

Adhesion to concrete: bond strength exceeds the strength of concrete when applied to a suitably prepared surface (>3.9N/mm2)

Compressive strength development at 10ºC: 2.5N/mm2 after 4h, 9N/mm2 after 6h, 56N/mm2 after 24h, 87N/mm2 after 3 days
Compressive strength development at 20ºC: 18N/mm2 after 3h, 35N/mm2 after 4h, 51N/mm2 after 6h, 79N/mm2 after 24h, 90N/mm2 after 3 days
