PEEK straps are used in the area of the highest and lowest temperatures, from -55°C to +260°C. They have excellent resistance to radioactive radiation and acid. The PTA2 strap achieves a minimum tensile strength of 230 N with a tape cross-section of only 4.5 mm, offering a very good ratio of its own weight to the mounting force. Also, a small tightening force of only 6 N enables very convenient mounting. The PTA2 strap is outside serrated, providing a smooth inner surface to protect against possible damage to the cable coating when the strap is tightened. The rounded geometry of the head is lower and better adheres to the cable surface, offering secure mounting in hard-to-reach spaces. PEEK straps were created in collaboration with leading companies specifically for use in extreme environments. Their usefulness in the highest temperature range favors their use in the aviation, defense, mining, petrochemical, automotive, and rail vehicle industries. Good radiation resistance enables their use in medical technology, chemical industry, and energy production. As straps with special properties, they combine the mechanical and chemical strength of steel straps with the convenience of mounting nylon straps.
