FLAWFINDER DYE PENETRANT Spray is a highly visible, highly sensitive, aerosol applied bright red dye, used as part of the NDT crack detection system to penetrate into the finest cracks and flaws and facilitate detection. Rocol’s FLAWFINDER non-destructive inspection system is designed to provide a fast, reliable method for visual detection of cracks or flaws in welded joints, castings, forgings, which would not normally be visible to the naked eye (bright red indication marks flaws and cracks). The spray is suitable for use on most materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminium, cast iron, ceramics, plastics, carbides, brass, copper and magnesium, the detection can be carried out both under electric and natural light. Convenient and easy to use, FLAWFINDER DYE PENETRANT can be easily removed by solvent or water washing. A multi-angle valve system provides easy access to hard to reach areas.

Application: Used as part of the FLAWFINDER non-destructive crack detection system, clearly highlighting cracks and defects during the inspection of welded joints, castings, forgings on many different materials. Suitable for pressure testing and leak detection.
