MBT straps feature a patented ball-locking system that allows the strap to be locked in any position along its entire length. They are available in both 316 and 304 stainless steel. MBT straps are typically used in harsh conditions or where special chemical resistance, fire resistance, temperature resistance or high tensile strength is required. They are used in all branches of industry, from mass transportation and shipbuilding to the oil refining and mining industries, as well as exhibition installations. Metal straps are also used to secure cables and wires from falling and blocking evacuation routes in the event of a fire.
