The two-part mounting element consists of a cable tie and a fir tree stopper, assembled together and ready for use. The fir tree mounting element is simply pressed into a previously prepared hole, which may also be non-through. Several layers of fins ensure a very good, secure attachment. The head of the mounting element also has a plate that partially prevents dirt and water from entering the hole. Originally designed for the automotive industry for mounting harnesses, thanks to its simplicity and easy installation, the product has found applications in many industries, from aviation, through switchboard installation, to washing machine production.
