These products come in the form of glue or mortar and can be used for sealing enclosures and joints, among other things. One of the most popular products is Wakcer Chemie’s ELASTOSIL E43, which comes in the form of an adhesive. This is a single-component, self-leveling compound of an extremely thick consistency. After application, the silicone sealant cures at room temperature, with no special drying necessary. ELASTOSIL E43 effectively protects against vibrations and mechanical factors, and is therefore ideal for sealing circuits.

Efficient silicone sealants - useful in the workshop

The ELASTOSIL N199 silicone sealant is also a top choice among our customers. This is a special silicone adhesive of a paste-like consistency. Similarly to the previously mentioned silicone, it cures in room temperature. The cured sealant is extremely robust and highly resistant to tearing and other mechanical damage, which makes is perfect for sealing circuits and joints, as well as pasting solar panels. Another noteworthy product is the universal two-component silicone repair compound, which can be used to fill holes and repair leaks in porous parts of casting moulds.
