Description
Product Details
Powersil AP silicone paste with medium density and excellent dielectric properties (very good electrical insulation, dielectric constant, high breakdown strength).

It is used as a lubricant during the installation of cable joints and power heads, as well as an electrical insulation. AP paste is also used as an anti-adhesive coating for high voltage insulators. The paste layer enables very fast and easy cleaning of insulators from contaminants (e.g. in the case of external insulators, self-cleaning during rain) and in the case of rain, fog or high humidity, prevents the formation of a conductive layer of water on the insulator, which could cause sparking and corona discharge.

Powersil AP paste is applied to cable joints, cable heads, plugs, and connectors. Powersil AP paste is waterproof and has good surface slip.

The operating temperature ranges from -40C to 200C.
