WACKER AK 0.65 is a hexamethyldisiloxane that exhibits minimal changes in physical properties over a wide range of temperatures. It has a low freezing point, high heat resistance, and good solubility in a wide range of solvents. It has excellent hydrophobic properties and good dielectric properties. It produces a low surface tension, which is associated with high surface activity. It is chemically highly unreactive.
