Identification plates are designed for easy marking of cables and pipes without the need to disconnect them. Due to the large size of the plates, more text can be placed on them than in the case of AT series signs. The marking is done manually using T82 markers or with the use of matching thermal transfer labels. The plates are also suitable for hot stamping. Installation is usually done using straps up to 4.8 mm wide. As the length of the straps can be arbitrary, this type of marking can be attached to elements with practically unlimited diameter. IMP plates are intended for marking cables and pipes with large diameters and in cases where the marking must contain a large amount of information.
