MCT bands were developed in collaboration with well-known, international food product manufacturers to reduce production contamination with pieces of plastic. MCT bands are made of a special polyamide blend with the addition of metal pigment. The metal additive allows both the entire band and its pieces to be detected by a magnetic sensor. This is particularly important when using the HACCP system in production processes. The unique blue color allows for quick and easy detection of contamination during optical inspections. Metal additive bands are specially designed for use in production processes in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries. The band is excellent for sealing transport containers and bags. Additionally, they are used in pipe and cable installations in production machines for these industries.
