Spiral hoses are a standard solution for managing and protecting wires and flexible hoses. Thanks to their construction, they can be applied to wires, cables or pipes after installation. In addition, hoses can be partially or completely unwound at any time and in any direction. HellermannTyton spiral hoses are available in a wide range of sizes, colors and materials: • Standard polyethylene (SBPE) for general applications • Non-flammable polyethylene (SBPEFR) offers increased fire resistance • Polyamide (SBPA) with increased mechanical resistance • Non-flammable polyamide (SBPAV0) compliant with UL94 standard provides high fire resistance in class V0, for special applications, especially in railway and aviation applications • PTFE (SBPTFE) offers increased protection against wear as well as excellent chemical and temperature resistance. Spiral hoses are used for bundling and protecting wires when a high level of mechanical protection is required, such as in the automotive industry or with control panels and cabinets.
