Color ribbons for printing on heat shrinkable shirt have been designed to ensure maximum clarity and durability of the print. The material is ready to use immediately after printing, without any additional fixing operations required.
To achieve the best possible print quality, it is necessary to use the appropriate color ribbon in combination with the right material. HellermannTyton tapes have been specially developed to provide maximum clarity and print resistance. The highest aging resistance and chemical resistance of the print on heat shrinkable shirts can be obtained by using TTRC+ tape. It has a special patented dye with excellent UV radiation resistance. This dye contains a solvent that allows for slow penetration into the material after printing, so as to provide excellent chemical resistance after a period of 48 to 72 hours. It meets the following standards: MIL-STD-202G (Method 215J), BS 4G 198-3 (Type 11A) and Def. Stan. 59-97 Issue 3 Type 2a for shrunk markers. Particular clarity and print wear resistance can be achieved by using TTDTHOUT tape. It meets the following standards: MIL-STD-202G (Method 215J) for shrunk and unshrunk markers, BS 4G 198-3 (Type 11A) and Def. Stan. 59-97 Issue 3 Type 2a for shrunk markers. Both tapes are used for printing on white or yellow heat shrinkable shirts, especially in rail, defense and medical industries. The TT822OUT8 tape is designed for printing on black heat shrinkable tubes. It has a unique silver-gray color that provides excellent contrast on black material. In applications where even greater contrast is needed, the TTRW tape in white can be used. Both of the above color ribbons meet the MIL-STD-202G (Method 215J) standard for shrunk markers.
