The two-part fastening element consists of a cable tie and a tree-shaped stop element, assembled together and ready for use. The tree-shaped fastening element simply presses into a previously prepared hole, which may also be non-through. Several layers of lamellae provide a very good, secure fastening. The head of the fastening element also has a small plate that partially prevents dirt and water from entering the hole. Originally designed for the automotive industry to secure wire harnesses, due to its simplicity and quick installation, the product has found applications in many industries, from aviation, through the assembly of switchboards, to the production of washing machines.
