The two-piece fastening element consists of a cable tie and a tree-shaped stop element, assembled together and ready for use. The tree-shaped fastening element is simply inserted into a previously prepared hole, which may also be non-through. Several layers of lamellas ensure very good, secure fastening. The head of the fastening element also has a small plate that partially prevents dirt and water from entering the hole. Originally designed for the automotive industry to secure wiring harnesses, the product's simplicity and quick installation has found application in many industries from aviation, through switchgear assembly, to washing machine production.
