Description
Product Details

A semi-transparent, single-component silicone adhesive with a liquid, self-leveling consistency and good mechanical properties. The adhesive cures at room temperature from air humidity and forms an elastic joint with very good mechanical properties. It has an acidic curing system.

ELASTOSIL E41 is a modification of the popular ELASTOSIL E43 adhesive, which has been diluted with 20% toluene. As a result, ELASTOSIL E41 is thinner but also has greater shrinkage.

The product is used for bonding silicone rubber to other substrates and components subjected to vibrations or high temperatures (up to 180oC). It can also be used for sealing housings and joints. Due to the release of acetic acid vapor during curing, the product is not recommended for use in contact with copper.
