SAPPHIRE Hi-Torque 220 Rocol

SAPPHIRE Hi-Torque is a line of semi-synthetic, high performance gearbox lubricants, containing additives to boost performance and improve adhesion. The gear oils form a tenacious, low foaming film with excellent resistance to water wash off and corrosion, guaranteeing outstanding EP performance with a weld load of 560kg. SAPPHIRE Hi-Torque lubricants incorporate the Rocol Start Up Protection System (SUPS), a unique additive package that ensures gear teeth are lubricated on start-up, even after a prolonged shut-down. Unlike traditional gear oils, where gear teeth are unprotected until enough oil has worked its way around them, SUPS technology leaves gear teeth coated with oil after shut-down. Excellent thermal stability greatly extends the life of the grease, reducing re-lubrication frequency and product usage. Compatible with most mineral and synthetic oils, the products are available in viscosity grades of ISO VG 150, 220, 320 and 460, to suit all gear box applications within the food industry. SAPPHIRE Hi-Torque oils contain a blue dye to help easily identify any potential leaks.

Application: Lubrication of gearboxes such as worm, spur, helical, bevel etc.
