WIRE ROPE Spray Rocol
WIRE ROPE Spray is a high performance, de-watering wire rope lubricant, based on highly refined mineral oil and an organically modified clay thickener. The convenient aerosol form allows easy, controlled application on equipment such as mobile cranes. contains a unique blend of lubricating solids, which reduces the internal friction ad wear often encountered in multi-strand wire ropes, thereby maximising the service life of the rope. The specially selected petroleum solvent provides enhances de-watering and penetration properties, which make it ideal for use on wet ropes or ropes going into storage. Once the solvent evaporates, the product performed identically to WIRE ROPE Dressing. The product is highly resistant to water wash-off and provides excellent corrosion protection, even in salt water environments. It forms a thin, non-tacky film which successfully prevents the build-up of dust and dirt on the wire rope. The product is also available in a semi-fluid and fluid form, as WIRE ROPE Dressing and WIRE ROPE Fluid.
Application: Corrosion protection of ropes operating in Marine and other arduous environmental conditions, on equipment such as hoists, drag lines, cranes, and ships.
