The constantly growing demand for mass transport and automotive industry for stronger cable ties leads to problems related to insulation damage caused by standard internally toothed ties, especially when cables are subjected to vibrations. The outside serrated ties of the OS series solve this problem. The new solution offers high tear resistance, low tightening force, and a smooth surface on the cable insulation side, minimizing the risk of damage. The curved shape of the head allows for a better fit of the tie to the cable shape and reduces the amount of space occupied by the head. The tie originally designed for the automotive industry is used in many industries where thin or soft insulation cables are used (e.g. silicone), especially in the aviation and railway industry.
