Product Details

Powersil AP silicone paste with medium density and excellent dielectric properties (very good electrical insulation, dielectric constant, high resistance to breakdown).

It is used as a lubricant during the installation of cable joints and electro-energetic heads, as well as electrical insulation. The AP paste is also used as an anti-adhesive coating for high-voltage insulators. The paste layer enables very fast and easy cleaning of insulators from contamination (e.g. in the case of external insulators, self-cleaning during rainfall) and in the case of rainfall, fog or high humidity, it prevents the formation of a conductive water layer on the insulator, and thus sparking and corona discharges.

Powersil AP paste is applied to cable joints, cable heads, plugs, and connectors. Powersil AP paste is waterproof and has good surface slip.

The working temperature ranges from -40C to 200C. Dielectric constant: 3.7
