SUMITUBE A2 2:1 Heat Shrink Tubing from Sumitomo Electric is a flexible and transparent, thin-walled polyolefin tube. It has a 2:1 shrink ratio and comes in a roll. This high-quality, halogen-free tubing has excellent electrical and chemical resistance and meets the highest industry, aviation, and military standards. It features a quick shrink process and low shrink temperature.

Applications: A2 heat shrink tubing is used in various industries, including solar and wind energy, aviation, shipbuilding, armaments, and rail transportation. It is used for insulation, mechanical protection, and additional labeling protection for wire harnesses in the armaments industry.

Technical data: The minimum shrink temperature is +110°C, while the operating temperature range is -55°C to +135°C. It is halogen-free and made of cross-linked polyolefin (PO-X). The electrical strength is ≥30 kV/mm. It is certified by SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 Class 2 and VG 95343 T 05 B.
