Pipe Thread Sealant 15-72 Varybond

15-72 is a PTFE reinforced anaerobic adhesive with a low friction coefficient, specially developed for easy disassembly of coarse threaded joints on metal pipes requiring a slow-curing pipe sealant. Particularly suitable for pipe joints with tapered or cylindrical threads (e.g. Whitworth B.S.P. threads). This flexible adhesive is highly resistant to various chemicals and has a breaking elongation of more than 100%. The product is approved acc. to DVGW (DIN EN 751-1) and KTW (use in contact with drinking water).

Application: Sealing conical and cylindrical pipe threads according to DIN 2999 up to 3 inches.
