Spiral hoses are a standard solution for managing and protecting cables and flexible hoses. Thanks to their construction, they can be applied to cables, wires, or pipes after installation. In addition, the hoses can be partially or completely unwound at any time and in any direction. HellermannTyton spiral hoses are available in a wide range of sizes, colors, and materials: • Standard polyethylene (SBPE) for general applications • Unflammable polyethylene (SBPEFR) offers increased fire resistance • Polyamide (SBPA) with increased mechanical resistance • Unflammable polyamide (SBPAV0) compliant with UL94 standard provides high fire resistance in class V0, for special applications, especially in railway and aviation industries • PTFE (SBPTFE) offers increased protection against abrasion as well as excellent chemical and temperature resistance. Spiral hoses are used for bundling and protecting cables when a high level of mechanical protection is required, such as in the automotive industry or in control panels and cabinets.
