Spiral hoses are a standard solution for managing and protecting cables and flexible hoses. Thanks to their structure, they can be placed on wires, cables, or pipes after installation. Additionally, hoses can be partially or completely unwound at any time and in any direction. HellermannTyton spiral hoses are available in a wide range of sizes, colors, and materials: • Standard polyethylene (SBPE) for general use • Unfireable polyethylene (SBPEFR) offers increased fire resistance • Polyamide (SBPA) with increased mechanical resistance • Unfireable polyamide (SBPAV0) compliant with UL94 standard provides high fire resistance in class V0 for special applications, particularly in railway and aviation applications • PTFE (SBPTFE) offers increased protection against wear and excellent chemical and temperature resistance. Spiral hoses are used for bundling and protecting cables when a high level of mechanical protection is required, such as in the automotive industry, or for control panels and cabinets.
