Spiral hoses are a standard solution for managing and protecting cables and flexible hoses. Thanks to their construction, they can be applied to wires, cables or pipes after installation. Additionally, hoses can be partially or completely unwound at any time and in any direction. HellermannTyton spiral hoses are available in a wide range of sizes, colors and materials: • Standard polyethylene (SBPE) for general applications • Flame-retardant polyethylene (SBPEFR) offers increased fire resistance • Polyamide (SBPA) with increased mechanical resistance • Flame-retardant polyamide (SBPAV0) compliant with UL94 standards, providing high fire resistance in class V0, for special applications, particularly in railway and aviation industries • PTFE (SBPTFE) offers increased protection against abrasion as well as excellent chemical and temperature resistance. Spiral hoses are used for bundling and protecting cables when a high level of mechanical protection is required, such as in the automotive industry or for control panels and cabinets.
