Spiral hoses are a standard solution for managing and protecting cables and flexible hoses. Thanks to their design, they can be applied to cables, wires or pipes already installed. In addition, the hoses can be partially or completely unwound at any time and in any direction. HellermannTyton spiral hoses are available in a wide range of sizes, colors, and materials: • Standard polyethylene (SBPE) for general applications • Unflamed polyethylene (SBPEFR) offers increased fire resistance • Polyamide (SBPA) with increased mechanical resistance • Unflamed polyamide (SBPAV0) compliant with UL94 standard provides high fire resistance in class V0, for special applications, especially in railway and aviation applications • PTFE (SBPTFE) offers increased protection against abrasion as well as excellent chemical and temperature resistance. Spiral hoses are used for bundling and protecting cables when a high level of mechanical protection is required, such as in the automotive industry or with control panels and cabinets.
