HSS Titanium PRO-TiN DIN 338 Irwin Metal Drill Bit.

The HSS Titanium PRO-TiN titanium drills are produced in accordance with DIN 338 standards. Coated with titanium nitride - TiN (hardness of approx. 80 HRC). Designed primarily for drilling in metal. Cylindrical handle. Joran quality.

Manufacturer: Irwin
Catalog number: 10502580
Diameter: 3.5 mm
Working length: 39 mm
Total length: 70 mm
Application: HSS Titanium PRO-TiN DIN 338 drills are intended for precise and repetitive drilling in metal, as well as in wood and plastic.
Construction: Made of high-speed steel (HSS) coated with titanium nitride (TiN). The TiN coating reduces vibrations and increases the durability of the drill bit. It provides a very high surface hardness. Produced according to DIN 338 standards. Cylindrical handle. Aggressive 135-degree split point angle ensures perfect centering and reduces pressure force. Spiral drill bit grinding. High thermal resistance and durability. 40-60% faster drilling compared to traditional drill bits.
Packaging: PVC tube or skin-type packaging.

Irwin HSS Pro-TiN Titanium DIN 338 titanium drills for metal are exceptionally fast and precise. Produced in Denmark at the Irwin Joran factory.
The HSS PRO-TiN drill bit body is made of high-speed steel and coated with a layer of titanium nitride (TiN). This additive guarantees exceptional strength and hardness of the drill bit (approx. 80 HRC). In addition, the TiN coating prevents the drill bit from overheating (low friction coefficient). The heat generated during work is mainly transferred to the chips and coolant. These properties make TiN drills very long-lasting. The speed of titanium drills is 40-60% faster than traditional high-speed steel drills. The feed rate is also increased by 10-20% without significant reduction in drill bit durability. The 135-degree split point angle reduces pressure during drilling and ensures efficiency and precise centering. The industrial-quality ground spiral guarantees precise drilling and quick removal of chips.
