The continuously increasing demand from mass transportation and automotive industries for stronger wire binding leads to problems associated with insulation damage caused by internally toothed standard clamps, especially when the wires are subjected to vibrations. The outside serrated OS series clamps solve this problem. The new solution offers high tear resistance, low tightening force, and a smooth surface on the side of the wire insulation, minimizing the risk of damage. The curved shape of the head allows better fitting of the clamp to the wire shape and reduces the amount of space occupied by the head. The clamp originally designed for the automotive industry is used in many industries where thin or soft insulation wires are used (e.g. silicone), especially in the aviation and railway industries.
