The continually increasing demand from mass transport and automotive industries for stronger cable ties leads to problems related to insulation damage caused by internally toothed standard cable ties, especially when the cables are subjected to vibrations. The outside serrated cable ties of the OS series solve this problem. The new solution offers high resistance to tearing, low tightening force, and a smooth surface on the side of the cable insulation, minimizing the risk of damage. The curved shape of the head allows for better fitting of the tie to the cable shape and reduces the amount of space occupied by the head. Originally designed for the automotive industry, the tie is used in many industries where thin or soft insulation cables (e.g. silicone) are used, especially in the aerospace and railway industries.
