The constantly increasing demand from mass transportation and automotive industries for stronger wire binding leads to problems related to insulation damage caused by internally serrated standard clamps, especially when the wires are subjected to vibrations. The outside serrated clamps from the OS series solve this problem. The new solution offers high tear resistance, low tightening force and a smooth surface on the insulation side of the wire, minimizing the risk of damage. The curved shape of the head allows for better adaptation of the clamp to the shape of the wire and reduces the amount of space occupied by the head. Originally designed for the automotive industry, the clamp is used in many industries where thin or soft insulation wires are used (e.g. silicone), especially in the aerospace and railway industries.
