The constantly growing demand from mass transport and automotive industries for stronger wire binding leads to problems related to insulation damage caused by standard internally toothed ties, especially when wires are subjected to vibrations. The outside serrated ties of the OS series solve this problem. The new solution offers high tear resistance, low tightening force, and a smooth surface on the wire insulation side, minimizing the risk of damage. The curved shape of the head allows for better adaptation of the tie to the wire shape and reduces the amount of space occupied by the head. The tie originally designed for the automotive industry is used in many industries where thin or soft insulation wires are used (e.g. silicone), especially in the aerospace and railway industries.
