The constantly growing demand from mass transportation and automotive industries for stronger cable ties leads to problems related to insulation damage caused by standard internally serrated ties, especially when cables are subjected to vibrations. The outside serrated OS series cable ties solve this problem. The new solution offers high resistance to tearing, low tightening force, and a smooth surface on the insulation side of the cable, minimizing the risk of damage. The curved shape of the head allows for better adaptation of the tie to the shape of the cable and reduces the amount of space occupied by the head. Originally designed for the automotive industry, the tie is used in many industries where thin or soft insulation cables are used (e.g. silicone), especially in the aerospace and railway industries.
