The constantly increasing demand from mass transport and automotive industries for stronger cable ties leads to problems with insulation damage caused by standard internally toothed ties, especially when cables are subjected to vibrations. The outside serrated OS series cable ties solve this problem. This new solution offers high tear resistance, low tightening force, and a smooth surface on the cable insulation side, minimizing the risk of damage. The curved head shape allows for better fitting of the tie to the cable shape and reduces the amount of space the head takes up. Originally designed for the automotive industry, the tie is used in many industries where thin or soft insulation cables are used (such as silicone), especially in the aerospace and railway industries.
