The two-piece mounting element consists of a cable tie and a tree-type fixing element, assembled together and ready for use. The tree-type fixing element is simply inserted into a previously prepared hole, which may also be non-through. Several layers of lamellae ensure very good and secure fastening. The head of the mounting element also has a plate that partially prevents dirt and water from entering the hole. Originally designed for the automotive industry for securing wiring harnesses, thanks to its simplicity and quick assembly, the product has found applications in many industries from aviation, through switchgear installation, to washing machine production.
