Product Details

ELASTOSIL N2076 single-component neutral silicone for coating and sealing electronic and electrical components.

A liquid RTV-1 silicone rubber that cures at room temperature under the influence of atmospheric moisture, it is resistant to flame, UV radiation, and weather conditions. It meets the requirements of EN 45545-2:2020 HL1 and HL2 for R22 and HL1, HL2, and HL3 for R23 and R24.

Application: A means for coating and sealing elements and equipment used in rail transport (construction of railway vehicles). Used as a thin layer coating and sealant for electronics, electrical equipment, lighting, and special applications. Provides excellent protection against moisture and atmospheric factors as well as additional electrical insulation.

- Does not contain tin, does not cause corrosion
- Exhibits excellent adhesion to many substrates, such as glass, aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics - polyamide (PA) and poly(butylene terephthalate) PBT
- Compatible with platinum-cured silicone rubbers (Pt)
- Does not peel, slide, or sag after application
- Has excellent adhesion without priming
- Cures at room temperature under the influence of atmospheric moisture
- Lower tensile strength
- Temperature range: -50°C - +180°C
- Non-flammable (meets the requirements of EN 45545-2:2020)
- Preliminary tests are recommended to optimize conditions for a given application.
