CHAINGUARD 230 Rocol

CHAINGUARD 230 is an ester based, high performance EP chain oil specifically formulated for the lubrication of all drive and transport chains and bearings running at high temperatures. Formulated from a combination of synthetic esters and a special antioxidant package, it ensures the highest performance in terms of thermal stability, low evaporation loss and minimal deposit formation. Thanks to its excellent anti-wear properties, the lubricant provides reduced wear and longer chain life, even at high temperatures. It effectively reduces power consumption on chain drive units and protects them against corrosion. Low fuming provides a clean and safe working environment and low evaporation extends re-lubrication intervals. CHAINGUARD 230 guarantees excellent EP performance with a weld load of 225kg. Compatible with most ester based fluids, the oil does not form hard carbon deposits and can be used in automatic lubricators. CHAINGUARD 230 is approved by Bruckner as a “Chain lubricant for horizontal and vertical return stenter chains and chain rail lubrication”.

Application: Lubrication of textile stenters, drying machines, paint stoving ovens and bakery ovens, and similar high temperature chain applications.
