WIRE ROPE Dressing Rocol

WIRE ROPE Dressing is a high performance, semi-fluid wire rope lubricant, based on highly refined mineral oil and an organically modified clay thickener. It contains a unique blend of lubricating solids, which reduces the internal friction ad wear often encountered in multi-strand wire ropes, thereby maximising the service life of the rope. WIRE ROPE Dressing is fluid enough to easily penetrate through the strands to the rope’s core, while being greasy enough that is resists fling off. Highly resistant to water wash-off, the product provides excellent corrosion protection, even in salt water environments and under water applications. It forms a thin, non-tacky film which successfully prevents the build-up of dust and dirt on the wire rope. The product is also available in fluid and aerosol form, as WIRE ROPE Fluid and WIRE ROPE Spray.

Application: Corrosion protection of ropes operating in Marine and other arduous environmental conditions, on equipment such as hoists, drag lines, cranes, ships and ship hoists. Can also be used as a semi-fluid high load gearbox grease.
