The constantly increasing demand from mass transportation and automotive industry for stronger cable ties leads to problems related to insulation damage caused by standard internally toothed ties, especially when the cables are subject to vibrations. The outside serrated OS series cable ties solve this issue. The new solution offers high tear resistance, low tightening force and a smooth surface on the insulation side of the cable, minimizing the risk of damage. The curved head shape allows for better adaptation to the cable shape and reduces the amount of space occupied by the head. Originally designed for the automotive industry, the tie is used in many industries where thin or soft insulation cables are used (e.g. silicone), especially in the aviation and railway industries.
