Branching heat shrinkable fittings with two fingers are used for simple and quick insulation of cable branch points onto individual cores. To ensure full protection against corrosion, the fittings are available with a thermoplastic or epoxy adhesive coating. The heat shrinkable finger separators are made of resistant, cross-linked polyolefin containing flame retardant additives. This allows for the use of fittings both indoors and outdoors, providing excellent mechanical and electrical protection. The fingers are supplied with an internal adhesive coating for some environmental protection, in versions for cables with 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 cores.
